As anyone who has had a hand in parish life can attest, no church function simply happens out of thin air.
In regards to the Mass and our liturgies, a sometimes underappreciated role is that of the Sacristan – someone who helps care for the vessels and tools used to conduct our liturgies and who ensures that the church is set up appropriately to conduct the service at hand.
