What is Matrimony?

Matrimony – commonly called Christian Marriage – is one of the Seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church. The Catechism defines it as follows:

“The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.”

Getting Married in Our Parish

As a major milestone in the Christian life where two become one, we are eager to support any of our parish family who are looking to obediently enter into Marriage before God and His Church.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about Matrimony or would like to be married here in our parish, please reach out to the Parish Office.
