Limited to married couples, this ministry involves working with and mentoring engaged couples during their preparation for the Sacrament of Marriage. It includes being present with the engaged couple at one of our semi-annual Engaged Blessing Masses which are held in spring and late summer, facilitating the sharing of the marriage preparation instrument, and acting as mentors and friends to the engaged couple.

The ministry is engaging, joy-filled and rewarding. It is recommended for couples who have been married for several years (for experience) and who enjoy a stable, loving and caring relationship themselves (for modeling marriage).

If you are enthusiastic about married life, have an honest understanding of the joys and challenges it presents to every married couple, and would enjoy sharing your own experiences with those joys and challenges, this may be the ministry for you.
