Stephen Ministry seeks to serve those experiencing life’s more difficult challenges through a compassionate presence and a listening heart: “I feel blest that in the twilight of my life, I have the opportunity to, for a short period of time each week, bring Christ’s love, healing and peace to one of God’s children – relieving the loneliness, the despair and the feelings of abandonment. My care receiver, after many months of visits, now laughs – the most joyous of sounds. It is delightful to hear!”
