Jesus Christ, you traveled through towns and villages “curing every disease and illness.” At your command, the sick were made well. Come to our aid now, in the midst of the global spread of the coronavirus, that we may experience your healing love.
Heal those who are sick with the virus. May they regain their strength and health through quality medical care.
Heal us from our fear, which prevents nations from working together and neighbors from helping one another.
Heal us from our pride, which can make us claim invulnerability to a disease that knows no borders.
Jesus Christ, you traveled through towns and villages “curing every disease and illness.” Come to our aid now, that we may experience your healing love.
Be with those who have died from the virus. May they be at rest with you in your eternal peace.
Be with the families of those who are sick or have died. As they worry and grieve, defend them from illness and despair. May they know your peace.
Be with the doctors, nurses, researchers and all medical professionals who seek to heal and help those affected and who put themselves at risk in the process. May they know your protection and peace.
Be with the leaders of all nations. Give them the foresight to act with charity and true concern for the well-being of the people they are meant to serve. Give them the wisdom to invest in long-term solutions that will help prepare for or prevent future outbreaks. May they know your peace, as they work together to achieve it on earth.
Whether we are home or abroad, surrounded by many people suffering from this illness or only a few, Jesus Christ, stay with us as we endure and mourn, persist and prepare. In place of our anxiety, give us your peace.
Please continue to pray for My mother Phyllis Phelan as she recovers from a stroke. She is making good progress and she is going to be transferred to Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford. We as her family and extended family members and friends thank you so very much for your thoughts and prayers ?. God bless you all.
For parents who cannot stay home from work but must find care for their children: God, present them with creative solutions

On this day when we celebrate St. Joseph, we lift our families to you, Our Lord. Watch over us, heal the sick, comfort the lonely and guide those who are working tirelessly to help those who are sick. In a special way, we remember the elderly who are separated from their loved ones. Help us to unite in love and kindness.
Our Precious Lord, may we feel your loving guidance and strength this Lent. Heal us and guide us through this pandemic. Bless all who are helping others in need at this time. Bless our doctors, nurses, police, and keep them healthy and strong. Bless those most vulnerable. Heal our world in crisis at this time. May all be brought into your loving Presence, grace and mercy.
For all my dear nurse friends struggling with their own fears for themselves and their families at this difficult time. May God keep them safe and healthy as they care for those who cannot care for themselves.
Please pray for my sister Mary who is ill( we are afraid it is the Coronavirus) she is my father’s caregiver and her daughter Katie has diabetes. Please also pray for her other daughter Melissa who is a nurse.Thank you.
Let us pray for our parishioners and parishioners’ family members who have died recently: For Marie
Abbot, for Patricia Partington, for Frederick Marchionna, may they know peace and joy in God’s tender embrace.
And for their family members and friends who grieve, may they know God’s loving presence in their grief. We pray…
For all those with no one to pray for them. For those who this pandemic will inflict suffering and sadness. Please bring them all safely to the end and may they feel the comfort and hope of the Spirit in their hearts.
Bless the doctors and caregivers give them the strength and wisdom to care for everyone. May everyone heal mentally and physically and restore us back to a healthy and happy life. May everyone resume their positions and help the market get back to order. May God Bless all and may everyone have the faith and wisdom to keep God in their lives and family.
Let us pray for Franklin Lopez and Arthur Lopez, brothers of parishioner Girlie Fitzpatrick, who have both died in recent days of the coronavirus. May they experience rest and peace in God and may their families be comforted.
Let us pray for all those for whom this may be an even more difficult time than only their concern about the coronavirus: the sick especially those with compromised immune systems, those who struggle with addiction and their families, those far from home, health care workers and those who mourn.
We pray for all medical personnel and especially for Dr. Ryan Quirk, daughter of a parishioner, as they faithfully attempt to serve the needs of those afflicted by the coronavirus.
We pray for Sal, dear friend of parishioner Nancy S, who is in the ICU with a Covid-19 diagnosis. May he and all who care for him feel the warmth, love and caring of God.
We pray for Glenn Roberts who recently died from the Covid-19 virus and for his wife, son and mother. Glenn’s home burned to the ground the same day he died. May God comfort and sustain his wife, mother and son!
Please pray for my brave daughters, Marylou and Janemarie, who are nurses caring for COVID patients in hospitals and nursing homes on Long Island. I pray that God give them the strength to do their chosen work, they are truly dedicated.

We pray for those dealing with long term illnesses and are currently isolated from their loved ones. I pray in a special way for my 95 year old neighbor, Mary, who is failing more each day. Grant her comfort in body and spirit.
Please pray for my brother who has been diagnosed as Covid positive and is in a nursing home, and for my mother, healthy so far but suffering dementia in a nursing home. God be with them and keep them safe.
Please include in your prayers my daughter Kristen, a nurse in New York City, and her young family and her husband as they hunker down in their apartment. I pray for my family here at home as I go for treatment for recurrence of breast cancer. I miss seeing my grand babies but happy to have FaceTime. God bless you all and stay safe?
We pray for the sick alone in hospitals unable to have the comfort of their loved ones by their side. May they feel the presence of Jesus, the caring of their family and the tender compassion of those ministering to them.
