Parish Membership

New members are most welcome and are invited to join our parish. Registration are available in the atrium or at the Parish Office.

Sacraments

Baptism is celebrated monthly, Saturdays, 12:30pm at Sacred Heart Church. There is a preparation meeting for parents. Please call 203-758-2659 for more information.

Reconciliation (confession) is available each Saturday from 2PM-2:30PM St. John of the Cross Church on the first and second Saturdays; at Sacred Heart Chruch on the third, fourth or fifth Saturdays of the month; in Advent and Lent at Communal celebrations, or by appointment.

Marriage is arranged by calling the parish office at least six months in advance. Couples meet for an initial pastoral conversation before a wedding date can be set. Please do not make other plans until a date has been confirmed with the parish.

For the Sick, including pastoral home visits, Eucharist or the Anointing of the Sick can be arranged by calling the parish office. If you or your loved one is at a hospital, please remember to tell the hospital staff/chaplain upon admission that you wish a visit by your parish. If you or your loved one are at a care facility and would like a pastoral visit, please call the parish office.
