IRIS (Integrated Refugee and Immigration Services) is a non-profit agency based in New Haven, CT whose mission is to help refugees and other displaced persons establish new lives and contribute to the vitality of Connecticut communities.

New Start Ministry, a ministry of St Luke’s Episcopal Church in Woodbury, is one of the co-sponsorship groups who work with IRIS to resettle refugees in their local communities. NSM is a team of volunteers including several SHC parishioners that has co-sponsored 2 refugee families in the Waterbury area.
