Interfaith Thanksgiving

St. James Lutheran Church, 111 Peter Road, Southbury

Each year the interfaith community of Southbury and Woodbury gather together to celebrate the themes of Thanksgiving and understanding. With current Covid-19 restrictions,this year’s service will be outside in the parking lot of St. James Lutheran Church and broadcast on FM into worshipers’ cars – or worshipers can bring a lawn chair and sit outside masked and socially distanced. Overflow parking will be at the Rochambeau Middle School across the street. Should there be inclement weather the service will be on Zoom and YouTube. The Rev. Malcolm Carr of South Britain Congregational Church will offer the sermon.
