St. Vincent de Paul Sandwich Makers
As we start a new year for our essential Sandwich Ministry, I want to sincerely thank all the volunteers who prepare sandwiches and treats for the homeless and those who pack the sandwiches into cartons for pick up by St. Vincent de Paul. Your generosity and labor over the years have allowed us to provide much-needed lunches to the less fortunate men, women and children who utilize the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen and Shelter in Waterbury. Your efforts and contributions are a testament to your love and concern for people truly in need. As St. Vincent de Paul said, “Lord, help me to make time today to serve you in those who are most in need of encouragement or assistance.” New schedules are available on the Outreach board in the atrium. To join our ministry or to be added to our email list, please call or email Claire Barlow at (203)262-0599 cb06488@gmail.com. Prayerful thanks to each of you.
Please take necessary steps to make and deliver the sandwiches with safety and prevention guidelines in mind. If you are feeling well, feel free to volunteer. Please check this week’s bulletin for the latest delivery dates or pick up your new schedule from the Church kitchen.
